As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, establishing, and managing technical projects. You will serve as a liaison between the business and technical aspects of assigned projects, align projects with customer needs and requirements, construct detailed work plans, achieve milestones, and communicate the results across a stakeholder audience

Responsibilities:

  • Manager large projects or one or more small projects end-to-end.
  • Should have played the role of Project Manager in prior projects.
  • Complete system architecture and design ownership for projects.
  • Interface with internal and external customers and stakeholders.
  • Involve in team building activities such as Interviewing, mentoring, participating in appraisal process etc.
  • Provide inputs for resource planning and be involved in hiring and personnel decisions.
  • Cover all aspects of project management including scheduling work activities, monitoring work activity progress, reviewing and reporting status etc.
  • Manage Risks / Impediments
  • Proactively manage communications.
  • Complete Delivery and Quality Ownership of projects.
  • Coordinating and performing code and design reviews.
  • Take ownership of project metrics (measurement, analysis, improvements)
  • Understand and adopt VM QMS process including process documentation

Requirements:

  • Overall experience of 10 – 12 years
  • Should have played the role of PM for 3 years
  • Strong expertise on .NET.
  • Good development experience and managing projects on  .NET and Data Technologies.
  • Knowledge of Web Applications, SOA, SVN/Git, Maven, Web services, Restful services, Cloud technologies (AWS/Azure), DevOps etc., in a development environment.
  • Good experience in running Agile Projects.
  • Good experience in Insurance domain.
  • Experience in Managing multiple projects and also the teams [development]
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Education- Computer Science Graduate/ Full time MBA /Post Graduate Management Degree Essential.
