About the Job :

We are looking for a senior QA for GuideWire ClaimCenter. The candidate would work as an individual contributor as well as a team player in a team that analyzes requirements, author test cases, log defects and retest those once fixed.

Following are the day-to-day work activities:

  • Analyse Business requirements and functional specifications.
  • Create, Review, and maintain test cases based on the requirements/User Stories and ensure proper test coverage.
  • Responsible for test case execution using appropriate tools and defect management.
  • Identify test data needs and prepare for required tests.
  • Responsible for doing detailed test case and test execution reviews and ensure quality delivery/standards are maintained.
  • Organize and analyse results of testing and provide reports to management.
  • Automate functional and regression test cases.
  • Analyse impact to existing regression/automation suites and work with the analysts to ensure test cases are updated based on impact analysis.
  • Closely work with Project Manager and Client Lead ensuring all deliverables are exceeding expectations.


  • Overall QA experience of 4+ years with expert knowledge in P&C Insurance Domain.
  • Should possess End to End business knowledge & hands-on experience on Guidewire ClaimCenter.
  • Extensive experience in QA Principles and Processes, worked through each phase of Testing Life cycle, beginning with planning to the release of the product.
  • Sound knowledge on Defect Life Cycle and Defect Management.
  • Good to have working experience on automation tools like Selenium, GT Framework.
  • Excellent communication and client handling skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in an offshore-onshore model.
  • Must be self-motivated to take on challenges and work on short deadlines.
  • Must be both individual contributor and good team player.
